Dashing pulls through for last minute Mcafee trade show
Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 1:56PM Our clients, McAfee, who specialize in software security worldwide, recently exhibited their products at the Australian Security Series Conference in Sydney.
It was a last-minute decision by McAfee to do this and Dashing was asked if we could print all the materials they needed in two days. They required 1,000 x 24 page booklets, raffle tickets, banners and mounted signage (including the timber stands for the posters). Phew!
It was always going to be a tough assignment but our super-heroes – the Dashing Team -came to the rescue again and we swung onto high-gear to get our clients off the hook.
First, we ordered the timber stands from our supplier while we started printing the raffle tickets which also had be perforated. Next we prepared proofs of the banners and posters (which were all different sizes) and, after approval, and these were then printed on our Canon 9000 – 12-colour inkjet printer.
By now, the stands had been delivered and the raffle tickets printed. We mounted the posters and banners overnight and delivered everything to the conference early on the morning of the event in good time for our clients to erect their display. They were stoked and we were just as happy to have made their deadline.
“The event was a huge success and everything looked fabulous” said Megan of McAfee.
These are a couple of pics from the event with big smiles on the faces of the McAfee girls.
