Captain Dashing performs minor miracle for Maverick
Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:42AM Last month, our client, Maverick, a major marketing and PR company, created an outdoor campaign for Optus in Martin Place, Sydney.
The campaign included designing and getting produced large posters and “speech bubble cut-outs” to be strategically set up in Martin Place so as to create maximum exposure and brand awareness for Optus.
Dashing Print was asked to produce the 3 huge posters and 250 “speech bubbles” in less than 48 hours – an almost impossible task!
The posters were printed using our Canon 12-colour high-res inkjet printer, then mounted on Gator-board with vinyl edges and specially laminated for protection against the weather. The speech bubble cut-outs also had to be printed on the Canon, laminated and mounted on 5mm Foam-core and then die-cut to Maverick’s specs.
The artwork was given to us on Wednesday and the complete job delivered to the client on Friday – phew!
Were Maverick and Optus happy? Can a duck swim? This is what Alexis of Maverick told us:
“Just again wanted to thank you for an OUTSTANDING job on the Optus printing. The event was a huge success and the branding all looked fantastic.
Here is a pic of the site just so it felt like you were there!
Thanks again!!!!!!
